Purchasing, Estimating, and Project Management Coordinator
We are a mid-sized commercial-industrial general contractor in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan looking for the right person to join our dedicated team. Our diverse portfolio includes pre-engineered steel building erection, new construction of banks, commercial, industrial, professional buildings as well as renovation work at malls, hospitals, medical buildings, retail stores and restaurants. - Purchasing and sales of construction-related products
- Estimating small to medium size construction projects
- Coordinating sub-contractor work
- Supervising small construction projects
- Maintaining inventory
- Assist co-workers with construction projects and creating close-out paperwork
- Assisting management with building maintenance

A good candidate should have experience in the following areas:

- Construction and construction product knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints and develop take offs
- Hands on construction experience
- Good verbal and written communication
- Computer skills such as Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word
- Willingness to learn new computer programs
- Problem solving skills
- Customer service
- Organization skills
- A can-do attitude

The level of education and work experience preferred would be a Degree in Construction Management along with some field experience, or in lieu of a college degree, 5 plus years of experience working in a related capacity within the construction industry.
The salary range for this position will be based on the applicants’ qualifications. This is a full-time, 40 hour a week salaried position with little to no evening or weekend work. It includes the following benefits package: medical, dental, vision insurance coverage, retirement plan, vacation time, paid holidays.
